Julie's Cross Stitch
Hello, and welcome to my cross stitch and needlework supply store. My name is Julie and I am glad
you are here. Julie's Cross Stitch has been in business now for
six years, and I want to thank you all for making my store
a great success!
I grew up in Arizona and went to a university in Flagstaff. I
have a degree in psychology and a I am a certified elementary school
teacher. I also have a background in accounting and business.
I am also very proud to be a breast cancer survivor.
After following my husband around from base to base for 10 years, we
finally got out of the military and settled in a small town in
Washington state. I have three children and consider them my most
important job, so I decided to start my
own business so I can be with them.
My grandmother gave me a love for cross stitch when I was in my late
teens. She taught me to quilt and to sew. She bought me my
very first cross stitch kit and I have been hooked ever since. She
just passed away a few years ago at the age of 95. I will always have fond
memories of when she taught me how to sew.
A few years ago I started to get back into cross stitch after my
children
got a little older. When I started looking around town there
wasn't much to offer for cross stitch. Then I went to the web, and
found most of the cross stitch stores online were very primitive and
difficult to navigate with little or no pictures to show me what I was
buying. When I did find a store or two their customer
service left a lot to be desired. That's when I decided to start my own store.
My husband is a computer genius. (It's always good to be sleeping
with your tech support) ha! He and I designed my website
together. Everything has pictures and I have tested most of the
products I am selling and can assure you they are the best quality. I have a wide selection of products
to offer.
We provide very friendly, personal service to our customers.
Several of my customers have become my friends. I really enjoy
talking to all of you.
